Before You Fly: Singapore Entry Rules
A visa does not guarantee entry. Immigration officers at the checkpoint decide admission. Carry a valid passport, enough funds for your stay and, where applicable, a confirmed return or onward ticket.
Visa validity and length of stay are different. The visa shows the period in which you may seek entry. ICA sets your permitted stay at the checkpoint.
Complete the SG Arrival Card. It is free and it is not a visa. Submit it on the official ICA website or MyICA app within 3 days before arrival, with a valid email address. Your e-Pass is sent by email and is not stamped in your passport.
Time your tickets. If you book flights first and the visa is refused or approved for different dates, the loss is yours.
Transiting Through Singapore? You May Not Need a Visa

Stays under this facility cannot be extended. Entry is still decided by ICA officers.

Can my Singapore visa be rejected?
Yes. Each application is judged on its own merits, and the fee is not refunded if it is refused.
Can I get a Singapore work visa through a consultant?
No. Work passes are applied for by the employer with the Ministry of Manpower. Be careful with anyone who sells a Singapore job visa.
